Biography

This biography is about my classmate Paúl Cordero.
He is a sixteen-years-old guy who is from Equador. He was living there until he and his mother were told by his father that he missed them a lot and he asked them to come here to Spain.
It was so easy for him to understand the Spanish language because in Equador it’s spoken the same language. He speaks three languages which are Spanish, Catalan and English. He’s an ambitious guy and for that reason he wants to learn German and Japanese in the future.
Nowadays he’s studying first of the scientific ‘Bachillerato’. In the future he wants to become a doctor or maybe a surgeon. He is totally interested in medical subjects.
He loves reading Harry Potter’s books, but he doesn’t read anything else. He only reads when the school teachers require him to do it.
His favourite celebrity is Amy Winehouse, he enjoys listening to her songs and he loves the lyrics.
On his spare time he often plays with videogames.
He loves travelling around the world and visiting other countries. He has visited Hamburg and Peru. He would like to visit Argentina in the future.
He doesn’t believe in God but he believes in superior beings.
Some of his objectives for this New Year 2009 are: speak English very well, make him a new piercing or tattoo and have nice results on his school exams.

One of the happiest moments in my life!

I’ve always wanted to have a little cousin who take care of when my uncles have to do something and for playing with him anytime he came at home.
Since some years ago I’ve been saying to my aunt to get pregnant but she said that she considered that it wasn’t the time at the moment, that she wanted to wait some years.
But the last year, when we were at home, she told me she was pregnant and that she was going to have a little baby. When I heard the news I became very excited about the situation. In July was going to be born my cousin. Then the months passed, and when she was about 4 months she went to the doctor for know if it was going to be a boy or a girl. The doctor said that he was going to be a boy, and my uncles decided to call him Hugo. Waiting for see his face was too hard because I was so impatient.
Finally 11th July my uncle phoned us and he said that my cousin was born, so we went as fast as we could to the hospital. When I entered the room and I saw that beauty little face I felt that was one of the happiest moments in my life.

True and false sentences

Two years ago I went to Paris. I visited the Louvre museum and then I ate in a typical restaurant of Paris with my best friend.

I broke my leg while I was climbing the Mount Everest last summer.

I enjoy playing tennis. I play usually four times at the weekend.

I will go to Greece with my friends at the end of this school year, for celebrate that we are in the university.

I usually go to the gym every day for do some aerobic and step’s classes.

My favourite band is Simple Plan. They will perform next 15th November in Barcelona and I’m going to buy the tickets this week for see them.

What makes my friend happy...

She is a funny girl that enjoys staying with her family and her friends. She can’t say no to playing in a volleyball match. Happiness for her means to visit her grandparents but also go clubbing once a week. Listening to music makes she feel good.

My classmate

Yaiza is a girl of nineteen years old that lives in Esplugues de Llobregat. She is still living with her parents. Yaiza is studying biology at Barcelona's University. She is trying to get her driving licence.
In her free time she enjoys swimming and watching sports programmes on TV. She also enjoys listenning to pop music.
Yaiza speaks five languages which are: Spanish, Catalan, English, French and German.
She has two older brothers, their are called Marc and Victor. The last summer she went with her brothers to visit some European countries. She has never been to New York but she will go next Christmas holidays.
The last film she have seen on the cinema was 'Bangkok dangerous'.
In the future she will work as a researcher in a hospital.
